  • South African citizens/residents are preferred.

  • A diploma in Business Administration or a related field is a requirement.
  • A degree in Business Administration is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 10 years related Executive Assistant experience in a corporate environment, supporting C-suite level positions.
  • A certificate in Project Management is an added advantage.
  • A certificate in Events Management is an added advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office is a must.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of rules regarding VISAs, Immigration, etc.
  • Demonstrated agility to work in a matrix, complex environment where change is constant.
  • Courageous and decisiveness.
  • Demonstrate ownership to see the bigger picture, think and work beyond the confines of the role.
  • Above-average planning, leading, and organising skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability.


  • Professionally represent the HR Directors office through interacting confidently with people at multiple levels with both external and internal parties (GROUP Departments, Customers, and GROUP counterparts).
  • Maintains HR Directors calendar by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Welcomes and screens visitors and clients, in person or telephonically, and answering or directing inquiries.
  • Responsible for communicating with Board members and other stakeholders and ensuring that all responses are done in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provides historical reference by developing and utilising filing and retrieval systems and recording meeting discussions and action items as and when required.
  • Screen the content of incoming communication, determining its relevance to the HR Director, including events and meetings, and delegating peripheral issues to the relevant directors or senior managers to ensure the effective use of his/her time.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for the HR Director and provide general assistance w.r.t. travel and accommodation in compliance with company policy, including drawing up of the itinerary and travel requirements of Group visitors.
  • Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products; placing and expediting orders for supplies; and verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Maintain and devise effective office systems, including negotiating and liaising with vendors.
  • Create presentations and reports as well as writing effective correspondence to stakeholders.
  • Maintains and protects operations by keeping information strictly confidential.
