Specialist Planner/Cost Management: Project Services (Rebranding)

Location: Cape Town

Indirect reports (i.e. employees reporting to the direct reports): up to 10 Employees, direct contractors


Summary of Role/Objective


The role will be supporting the project on rebranding of all branded retail stations within the Company’s network as well as rebranding activities for other corporate, commercial, and industrial sites within the Company’s network. The role will lead the planning/scheduling and cost management for the various departments within PCM and manage the overall Project Services team located in the PCM N’djamena and site-based offices.


This role will work closely the Programme Manager and Technical Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the project. The role will oversee the planning/scheduling, cost and scope management and reporting elements of the projects including reviewing project progress against the programme schedule. The role will also play a key role in reviewing the cost and scope proposals for the rollout of the sites.


Work Experience:


  • Min 5 years minimum relevant work experience in construction and or shop fitting projects
  • Qualifications and certifications Microsoft Excel and Project Management tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Commerce or Finance or other relevant qualification OR relevant experience. (construction & engineering)
  • Qualifications and certifications Microsoft Excel and Project Management tools
  • Advanced training in Microsoft Excel and Project tools
  • Experience with Systems such as Primavera or MS Projects would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of the Smartsheets project management tool is desired
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of project elements and the ability to manage and report on disparate deliverables with minimal supervision.
